I remember when it was fun to hang out at Starbucks. Slowly, but by bit, they traded charm for convenience. I stopped going to Starbucks when they refused to give me my free birthday drink because I was a day late. Cheap. Greedy. Sterile. I go to a local mom & pop coffee house now and love it. It’s unlikely Starbucks will ever see me again.
