I remember reading about Northern Ireland pretty much every day in the news back then. I also remember attending a No Nukes concert in Los Angeles in 1981, and there was a booth outside the entrance to the Hollywood Bowl celebrating Bobby Sands, who went on a hunger strike and died. I still remember the sign with his name on it.
