I read Jessica and Umair all the time, and for the most part I think they are right. One thing, however, is worth noting. Some people will survive no matter how bad the cataclysm. It probably won't be us though. And even in the event humanity is wiped out, the Earth will cleanse itself and continue on its way as though man never existed. Alien visitors may some day think they found evidence that intelligent life once existed on Earth, but they will be mistaken.
