I lived in Minneapolis for 25 years. One thing everyone loved about Prince was he remained a local even after making it big. It was not unusual for him to be seen in town. He owned several businesses there. His mom was a social worker for Minneapolis Public Schools. He got married in a church in the neighborhood he grew up in.
