I know this territory well after having taught in north Milwaukee for 6 years. During that time I had 8 students murdered. I have 3 former students serviing sentences of more than 30 years for killing people. I have many others serving sentences from 4 to 20 years for various other crimes. It is a sad state of affairs. These kids never had a chance.
