I haven't spoken to my younger sister in years. She is a far-right, Trump-supporting Christian. She thinks gays are going to hell, unions are bad, public schools should be shut down, books should be banned, and that "all lives matter." In short, she is against everything I am and stand for, and she votes to cause harm to the things I value. How can I call someone who does all this a sister? I can't. I won't. I don't wish her ill. I just don't want to be around her.
