I have worked 2 jobs almost my entire career. It is not unusual in most school districts that the lowest paid administrator makes more than the highest paid teacher. Right now they are paying school bus drivers $20 per hour. If you multiply that out as if it was a full time job, they would be making as much as a new teacher. There is this undercurrent of hatred for teachers for some reason. They love us when we are protecting kids from school shooters, but ask for a raise and see what happens.
