I have sat on dozens of IEP meetings over the course of my career in several different schools. It is normal to feel some anxiety when the topic of the meeting is your child, and teachers (both special ed and regular classroom) know this. We, like you, want what is best for your child. Speak up when something doesn't sound right, or if there is something you feel is missing. We are listening.
