I have my finger on the retirement button and will push it with glee when I have finally had enough of the nonsense, which isn’t far off. I have told many students over the years, my son included, not to go into teaching. I told them to go into a field where you are treated with respect and are compensated decently. If I had it to do over, I wouldn’t.
