I have had my share of viral stories. Most of them were in publications, but some were self-published. I tend to split my writings between a few of my favorites publications and self-publish maybe 1 out of every 5 articles I write. I have just under 4K followers after 2 years here and most of Medium is still pretty much a mystery to me.
