I have been thinking this same thing. The Holocaust is not meant to be used as a figure of speech. It is an awful historical fact. I have never been to Auschwitz, but I have been to the Holocaust Museum in Wash DC. It was a somber experience to say the least. Saying Anne Frank had white privilege is simply outrageous.
