I have actually pondered this same thing a few times, and I always hit the same wall. Who is white? Scandinavians are. So are Germans. But what about Jews? Hispanics? Italians? Where do people of mixed ancestry go? Are people from Morocco white? Or Greece? Arabs? The more I think about, the more complicated it becomes. Great topic!
