I don't so much "recycle" my material as I do submit it to a different publication. Sometimes the first publication I send something to nets me almost no readership. That doesn't mean my article is no good, or that it has to be condemned to No Man's Land for an eternity. I withdraw it, look it over to improve it, and then submit it elsewhere. If only 21 people read it the first time out, it is a small risk that any of them would come across it again.
