I couldn’t agree more. As a teacher of 34 years, I provide opportunities for kids to learn. If they are learning it elsewhere, or spending time learning something else valuable, I applaud that. It is well past the time to move beyond classrooms, standardized curriculums, standardized tests, and standardized minds.
