I could see the formation of a third party in the middle - a Moderate Party, for the lack of anything else to call it. This would leave the far right to the Trump supporters, and it would leave the Progressive wing of the Dems to Bernie Sanders, et al. The Moderate Party would include Biden, Mitt Romney and other moderates from both parties. Coalition building would have to take place, which would force these people to work together.
