I attended the funeral of a student I had who committed suicide. I still remember the minister ask the congregation if anyone here had never thought of taking their own life. Not one hand was raised. Then he said suicide is a long term solution to a short term problem. While he spoke, the girl’s 2 year old daughter wandered around the church looking for her mom. I wish I could have talked to her before she did it.
