I am weary of the fake replies to my pieces where people want me to go to their page or contact them for whatever. I do wish Medium had a more effective way to block these fake accounts. As for me, if I come across one, I report it and block it. I know several writers who have put at the bottom of their pieces that they will never contract anyone on Whatsapp or Telegram so if you see it, you know it's fake.
