I am more laid back in my approach to cleaning the kitchen. The dishes can wait a bit. My wife on the other hand will not go to bed unless the kitchen is clean. Clean-as-you-go was what I was taught as an Army cook back in the day. Sometimes, though, I just don't feel like it. LOL......
