I am in my 35th year of teaching, and each year it gets worse. It is getting to the point where you are afraid to say anything at all for fear of a group of parents coming to the school for your head and your job. I am glad retirement is on the near horizon for me. As for everyone else, 44% will quit within the first 5 years. I think that number is going to increase.
