Home Depot's beginning wage is $12 per hour with no benefits and no employee discount, and they are severely shorthanded. Management cannot figure out why no one is applying. Across the street, Target pays $15 to start. Down the road, Costco pays $16. I wonder if wages has anything to do with it?
