Great question. I think the Dems derailed his candidacy exactly because they thought he WOULD win, which would force them to admit they actually liked Trump more than Sanders. And you are right - Bernie deserved more "air time" in this article. Of this crop of politicians, he has remained the most true to the vision he had in his youth.
