Great observations. The Tea Party became the Republican Party, and relegated their moderates to political limbo, not really Republicans and not Democrats. The progressive wing of the Dems could do this, but they won't. What we are witnessing is the creation of a third party, the Moderate Party, in the middle, comprised of Biden Democrats and Lincoln Project Republicans.
