Good observation. The ratio of boys to girls was close to 50/50. Of the 8 students I have seen murdered in the 6 years I have been here, all have been black males. The homicide statistics for Milwaukee show that about 90% of the homicides are Black males. As for incarceration, I have about a dozen or so former students incarcerated, all male. I have no former female students currently incarcerated.
