For me, one of the biggest advantages of working while I am collecting Soc Sec is that I have a way to fill the hours and be around people. I don't have the means to sail around the world or vacation endlessly. Working part time doesn't eat up a lot of my free time, and it is something that puts just a little structure into what would otherwise be a very unstructured day.
