Excellent piece!!!! The Costa-Gavras film "MIssing" takes place during the Chilean coup. I had the privilege of attending a lecture by Thomas Hauser, the author of the book that inspired it (The Execution of Charles Horman). I have been to northern Guatemala and the people there live in grass huts.
