Excellent advice. I have done exercises with classes to teach them how to pay attention better and how their short-term and long-term memories work (comparing it to how a computer works with RAM and a hard drive), and that most forgetting is done in the first few minutes after class ends. Today it seems like we all tend to listen less and talk more. Read less and write more. We need to strike a better balance.
