Exactly! At our school, we give monthly awards for attendance, showing effort, improvement, showing kindness, and several other categories. The students receiving awards (most students get at least one) are invited to a pizza party and the certificates are mailed home. This is our way of showing our students (poor, inner city) that we notice you, that we appreciate you.
