Every generation thinks the end of the world will come during their lifetime. What egos we have. People think they have what it takes to survive an apocalypse, but they couldn't even handle sheltering in place last spring or wearing a mask. If there is a god, I dare say the human being is not his best work. Those self-proclaimed badasses look more like lost dwarves from the Hobbit than they do a militia.
