Even if wealth could stop climate change, it wouldn't help a bit if it is not directed in the right places. Wealth in the U.S. is hoarded by a small number of people for vanity projects like trips to outer space, large underground bunkers, and other forms of conspicuous consumption. If the world is relying on the U.S. to fix this, we are truly doomed.
