Chipotle let the proverbial cat out of the bag when it announced that increasing their wage to $15 per hour only raised the cost of a burrito by 30 cents. Businesses have been peddling the lie that raising wages will make them go under. Other conservatives peddle the lie that it will cause hyperinflation, an argument they never use when executive compensation is being discussed.
