Bravo! I'm with you. My idea of a relaxing retirement is staying home and being around friends and family. I have several retired friends who are updating everyone constantly about their latest trip to who-knows-where (or more accurately who-cares-where). Wasting my retirement in airports sounds dreadful to me. Today I will be tilling up the soil and planting pumpkins. That's my idea of a bucket list, or just plain life.
