Are you not submitting this to the contest? You should. One of the categories is about death. We lost our Hazel last summer - hit by a car after running away from our neighbor's obnoxious fireworks display on the 4th of July. We buried her by the stream and planted hostas and other plants, hung a wind chime in the nearby tree and places a painted rock over her resting place. We call that area "Hazel's Garden."
