Agreed. I tell people to buy the healthiest food they can afford, and to buy fewer things and buy local whenever possible. I teach in a school that is 99% black and 100% poor. These kids shop at Walmart because it's cheaper and they can get more stuff. In their eyes, the idea of supporting a black-owned business is a luxury reserved for those with means.
