By now anyone who reads the news is already aware of the “incident” at last night’s Oscars. Will Smith, upset about an insult Chris Rock hurled at his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, took a swing at Rock as he took the stage. This incident made the front page of almost every news outlet in America.

While most of the articles I have read about this are critical, I personally think it was a good thing. What better way to show how far our society has devolved than to have two millionaire actors have a fight on a stage in front of an audience, and then one of them claims his award?
