About a year ago I responded to an advertisement for a "conceal and carry" class offered in my area (southeastern Wisconsin). I asked if there was a requirement to demonstrate that I knew how to handle and shoot my pistol. They told me there was no such requirement, and the class only went over the laws pertaining to conceal and carry.
