A sad situation to be sure. This teacher was doing something incredibly dumb to make her class more “interesting.” Far too many teachers have been taught part of their job is to entertain. Mix that notion with ethnic insensitivity, and this is what you get. It reminds me of the Tomahawk Chop of the Atlanta Braves.
