A number of years ago I read that people tend to create their god in their own image. People prone to judging others create a very judgmental god who punishes. People who are more accepting and loving create a god that reflects that. Me? If I have to have a god, I want one who accepts me as the creation he or she made. I'm not my fault, so don't punish me for being the way you made me. LOL.
