A number of years ago a student of mine said he didn't think gay people should be allowed to teach. I asked him why, and he said that they would try to turn kids gay. This was my moment. I sat down next to him, I mean REAL close, put my face close to him and asked him "Steve? Do you think I could turn you gay?" He got up and got away from me as fast as he could as the class laughed. I made my point.
