2 years ago I finally upgraded from my 2012 MacBook Pro when I had to teach online during COVID. It was so slow it was painful to do anything with it. I finally decided I deserved a new computer and opted for a MacBook Air, which was cheaper than the Pro by a lot and did everything I needed at lightning speed. Whew. It was like taking a new car out for a drive after driving a 1982 Cordoba with 213,000 miles on it.
